Our club meets are held on the first Tuesday of every month, and everyone is welcome — members, racers, families, and anyone curious about what we do. This is your space to share compliments, voice concerns, ask questions, and help shape the direction of NNKC. Your participation keeps our community strong, connected, and moving forward.

If you can’t attend in person, no problem at all — just email the club and we’ll send you the Zoom link so you can join remotely. No excuses… everyone can participate, whether you’re at the track, at home, or on the road.

New Business NNKC

  • Vega tire sponsorship: this would be for all classes 2 stroke and 4 stroke: but if we have no real excitement about them then we can check back on this next year. 

  • Track Repave: a lot of work has been done, electrical, conex boxes, fences, we still have lots to do, we need to ensure that the track is safe and ready for racing. We may need to postpone the May 17th race. We are also looking at curbing and we are working on the estimates for this. Staffing has been difficult as that is also a graduation weekend and not many people are available. If we do cancel we will continue to keep the track closed to all members and look to have a grand opening on the first of June and keep the race as scheduled on June 20, 2026. We may not try to make up the May 17th race as there are not many dates available so we may run a 6 race season.  The final decision on the May 17th race will be decided by the end of this week. Curbing will be similar to turn 4.  We have to concrete all the posts in, fences have to be reinstalled with chain link and wire, wire up new scoring loop, tire barriers, electrical, paint race track, pit spots. A member has chain link fencing to donate. People who had their pit spots moved will get the first pick of the new pit spots.

  • We have a few people who are interested in sponsoring corners with money donations. If you know any companies or people who are interested, please send them our way!!


New Business Minimoto

  • Minimoto will hold off on their race as well until June. We need to work on our dirt section as well so the extra time is good. Can we get the debris removed? At this time we are pretty stuck at this point we are trying to get someone to haul it away for free but no such luck now.

  • If anyone has any equipment that they would be willing to help Minimoto help move and clean up their area would be greatly appreciated.

  • Would it be possible to move a race in October for the Minimoto make up? Ya we can look at that.

Good of the Order

-When the track is reopened, can we try to be mindful of other people who are waiting on the grid to go out. Keep time on track to 10 mins. 

-Are minimoto required to do volunteer work? President: ALL members are required to have volunteer hours. We will discuss the volunteer time in more detail, such as if you do not volunteer you will pay a higher fee. 

-Can we just call off the May 17 race NOW?  President: ya we can if all are in favor. Is anyone super opposed to cancelling? CALLED we have canceled the May 17th race. Grand opening is Saturday June 6th!!!! We will look to see if we can do a 7th race in October.

-Turn 7 where the barriers are, the hay bales are butted up against it, there is no give. Think that we need to move at least 5 feet back. 

-With pits moving into the parking area, will there still be a free spectator area? President: no, if people want to free spectate they will have to do that from outside the fence line. It is too hard to regulate the wristbands.

-Can we clean up the outside a bit more. President: yes we actually have more property than what is just the track itself. 

-Is there plans for this weekend to get more done. President: if anyone wants to just let us know but we need it to be a WORK not just people wanting to check things out. 

-What about the double header for the first race? President: as I mentioned before I do not want the first race to be a double header so for now our first race will be on Sunday June 21, 2026. The rest of the races will stay as scheduled but we will make adjustments if we do a double header to make up races.
