Good of the Order
-grid set up? Working on ways to make it smoother and less congestion
-race day procedures, have we discussed heats, qual? Working on this as well.
-tires? If one particular class (such as 80 or 125) wants to run something specific we can look at accommodating but for the majority of the club we will stick with Evinco.
-jr 1 rookies move up for this year? We had a 3 seconds rule and a lot of the fast kids from Jr 1 have moved up so we may not have an issue. We will have to check into it at our first race. Jr 1 rookie is meant more for safety.
-do we have direction on the cleaning of the porta potties? We have checked but we own them and a lot of companies do not want to clean what they don't own. Service is up and running but once a week service will start back up in March.
-kid kart, got an email? Most of the other States and East Coast are using the 206 motor instead of the Honda for kid karts. It makes more sense to move to 206 which will prepare the kids for Jr 1. We have some options to move to 206, club can pay for the motor and then it can be reused (loaner) for the next year, we also have had a couple people who are willing to purchase some for kid karters if need be. We sent an email to the kid kart parents that we know of for a thought process on it but we are going to do it. We just wanted to ensure to the kid kart parents that we are all here to help with the transition.
-new members, please do not show up to our place of work. Please give us a heads up via email.
-corner workers, will we have a training day and additional floaters? Yes and yes. We have someone who is running the show making sure that corner workers are informed.
-first prototype of covers for corner workers stands will be out this weekend if anyone wants to see
