Next meeting June 2nd, 2026 ⁘

Our club meets are held on the first Tuesday of every month, and everyone is welcome — members, racers, families, and anyone curious about what we do. This is your space to share compliments, voice concerns, ask questions, and help shape the direction of NNKC. Your participation keeps our community strong, connected, and moving forward.

If you can’t attend in person, no problem at all — just email the club and we’ll send you the Zoom link so you can join remotely. No excuses… everyone can participate, whether you’re at the track, at home, or on the road.

  • Sponsor Membership-Need by February 2026

  • Track Repave-Q&D will be repaving for us only charging us cost of materials-Half will be paid this year and the rest over the next couple of years; Estimate is $300K for materials-$180K to be paid this year; looking to pave as soon as Q&D is available-shooting for March or April;

  • Camping fees and Saturday practice fees

    • Practice fees: this is just a discussion: will be for everyone, members and non-members. Not at our regular practice fees of $35, maybe more like $10-$15.

    • Camping fees: this is just a discussion: these would be for only on race weekend, for all who stay the weekend on track site:

      •  suggestion to raise entry fee & member fees so that we can compensate that way instead of trying to track practice fees and camping fees-will add this as an agenda item for next meeting 2.3.26 with a price for voting

    • April 19th, May 3rd, June 21st, July 12th, July 26th, August 22nd (night race), September 20th.  KFX arrive and drive series will be June 27th and June 28th, track will be closed to all who are not registered for this series.  NNKC members will be given a discount if they wish to participate.

    • First track work day will probably be the Saturday before the first race in April

    • Rain dates-will be double headers

  • Social media committee-lets get to posting more about our club.

Good of the Order

-suggestion to change the pit spot names to a number

-what about trenching in lights when repaving then reducing corner workers-response: could be beneficial for minimoto but for karting we need people to move karts, lights would be great as well but need to keep people on track for help

--minimoto looking to do more enduro racing this season, doesn't cost much and makes revenue

-suggestion to use leftover grindings from track repave to fill in parking spots

-ensure that we are using the right profile for curbs in repave

-suggestion to have social media committee be provided free pit spot

-suggestion to trade around the track for social media, share amongst all

-volunteer to do precheck on tech-couple members have said they would

-what tire are we running this year? Response: Evinco contract officially ends in February 2026 we can discuss but as of now keeping with Evinco

-barriers ordered? Response: we have reached out and haven't gotten a response yet.

-webcams with Brian Lewis mic’d up will be cool

-night race worth the effort and the cost? Response: we have a good turnout and people like it

-volunteer time to be logged after completion and added publicly on website or via email so all know. Especially if you are up for championship points. Each membership equals volunteer.
